DpuScan standard DpuScan Standard

DpuScan Standard offers all required functions for defining and executing simple scan jobs. Furthermore, the actual scanned images can be viewed for control, and their image quality can be enhanced.

In addition to each image, an existing barcode can be saved to a separate file as text. A single scanned file can be transformed to a text file with the integrated OCR module.

Defining Different Tasks
  • Several different Scanprofiles can be defined and administered. According to the need, you can select the suitable Scanprofile from the Profile database.
  • A protocol file can be generated with appropriately defined information for export to Document Management Systems (DMS).
  • With Event rules (which can however be defined only from DpuScan Professional), Jobs can be automatically separated or sorted. Besides barcodes, patchcodes are also available for Job separation.
  • Starting from the Standard version, you can select between the operating modes "Open Job" and "Direct Scanning":

    • In the Basic version, only the operating mode "Direct Scanning" is available, where all scanned images and additional information is immediately saved to the preset target address. When finishing a Task, the relative scan job is immediately finalized.
    • In the "Open Job" operating mode, saving is first made in a temporary directory. After finishing a Task, the scan job can always be temporarily saved and later be continued from the saved position. In the "Open Job" operating mode, images can still be moved, deleted or inserted, before the Job is finalized. Such a Job can even be processed on several stations. For quality control, it is possible to mark images.
  • Different, password protected User Profiles make it possible to restrict the functional scope available to the user to certain features. You can, for example, restrict certain rights to modify the images. A user might have the right to just flag images for deleting, while another user has the right to undo this flag or to make the delete effective.
